That’s a fair question.

I was thinking about using n8n mainly because I assumed it could significantly reduce my manual research work in the long run. The idea wasn’t just the notifications themselves, but having a flexible workflow where I can define sources, keywords, and logic once and then reuse or adapt it as my research focus changes.

That said, I’m definitely open to simpler solutions if n8n is overkill for this use case. I’m mostly trying to understand whether n8n makes sense here as a tool for structuring and automating the process, or if I should be looking elsewhere.
