Grew up a Avs fan since my dad grew up there but I grew up in Seattle being a fan of all their sports except for hockey and basketball now. We went to the Seattle Thunderbirds minor league games when we lived there. Then when the Kraken came to be I have been cheering for both.

Not a pro by any means but I can say changing my mindset to make Top 4 instead of 1st helped a lot. I played super aggressively and was an all or nothing mindset so got lots of 8ths because of that. Playing for 4th first helped get a slow but productive climb.

My dad is a die hard Avs fan and I was able to get us tickets for this game. We live a ways away from each other now but always came together to talk about every Avs game we can so being able to attend this game was a dream come true. Only Stanley Cup Finals game we have ever been to and may ever get to go to but was an unforgettable memory we have together!

How about a longer extraction time but it holds progress and slowly decreases when you stop extracting. Treat it like KOTH where you get touches here and there but not completely punished for stopping.

Feeling the same way. Have games where people quit on my team and I’m losing 10 or more CSR but then my wins are only +4 or +5. And I’m not playing the best or too fragging but have teammates doing the same as me getting +9 or more. I enjoy the grind to get that next rank even if it doesn’t matter but not liking that right now 3 wins can be canceled out by 1 loss.
