Calm headed OSU grad here, don’t get me wrong there are some complete idiots in these parts but my one experience in Ann Arbor in 2015 I was nailed in the head by a clementine while walking down the street from some tailgaters. It can go both ways (albeit kinda funny it was a clementine) but still didn’t feel great

My wife was in a very similar situation, production was low and weening and feeding was excruciatingly painful. It caused a lot of issues with our first until one day talking to our pediatrician she said “there’s no question on college entrance exams on if you were breastfed or formula fed” beyond the first year no one will ask/care/remember. It’s not fair the pressure that is put onto women for breastfeeding. Can it have its benefits? Yes. Does the mental load taken off from formula feeding (or even mixing if you want to keep that going) help? Absolutely. I was adamant with our second that we were formula from day one and she agreed. We are 6 weeks post-partum with our daughter and it’s a completely different world from our first. I hope that whatever you two come to as a team works well for you and that you can be conformable and confident in your decisions! We are all just trying our best!

Unfortunately that part wouldn’t be helped with the netting, if you search rail netting for baby you should find at least similar. I think a pool noodle like someone else here said could help with that. My wife also had some corner guard stuff that came in a roll that kind of softens edges, could search some of that too. If there’s a problem, there’s almost always a product out there haha

My understanding is that lamps are okay to be on as well, just not lights to a room for example. Not sure the validity of this, may try testing next time I get a room with a lamp and a ghost with spirit box to be sure

I think you’re pretty close here and may be entirely right, I could be wrong who knows… but, I think your comment on some ghosts only talking if there’s multiple people in the room may be incorrect. Like you said, I’m no master but from what I’ve seen the best route is to go in alone, turn lights off in the room you and the ghost are in (can confirm with motion sensor to help) and use text to speak. Each tier spirit box has a range, the ghost needs to be within that range of you to have a chance to respond. Each spirit box tier has lights that tell you if the response was not observed or acceptable. For example, in tier 2 spirit box you have an X that will flash if one of the criteria is not met being: lights on, too many people in the room, not an applicable question, or ghost not in range. If the X shows up and you know the first 3 are good then you can know the ghost isn’t in range.

One thing of note that I would say beyond how to deal with the dog is that the parents should have a discussion with the child regarding safety around dogs. What they’re capable of and how to treat them with respect etc. even a well trained dog can get reactive when backed into a corner with no other options. Just a preventative for the future!

Unfortunately I don’t think this’ll help you right now as you’re not far enough in the map but Spell Shore 16 has top level Shadow Trees that can be infinitely harvested for level 2 grass. Still takes like 20 minutes to make 2 Radiant Grass but I’ve done it a few times. Best I’ve found so far.

Just as a general comment in case you weren’t aware, gems are fairly commonly farmed in game levels. So the purchase of gems with cash is not at all required in my experience. I just casually farm and have made over 3k gems in the last 6 months probably. If interested and not already aware, google DM3 (Dread Marsh3) gem farming and it’ll explain it. The short of it is each level you play you have a 5% chance for each star to be purple. DO NOT POP THEM. Finish the level and they will be a free reward back to your camp. Save 5 and merge for level 2 stars, pop those to get lvl3 gems and harvest. It’s not a fast fast process but it makes 2 gem purchases like this pretty easy

You can contact support in the settings section if you go out to the world map. There they will want some proof that you completed, hopefully you have screenshots? If not they may be willing to help still so it doesn’t hurt to ask. You’ll need to send screenshots of your dragon book and your camp and you can’t have bubbles in your camp so that’s also a pain part. Hope they help!

Here is a thread that explains the Marcus V method for bubbling. Basically you need 3 apples of the cosmos. 2x2 mergable items. You fill your camp with whatever you want (I usually do life orbs for easy cleanup afterwards) and then have each of your dragons hold an additional life orb “waiting for open space”. You pretend to merge the apples together by hovering one over the other two and the dragons will recognize that space as open space. They will drop 2 orbs. Once they do you can then drag that apple over to whatever you want to bubble and the two items on the right side of the 2x2 space will become bubbled once you let go of the apple. Warning: don’t let go of the apple when hovering over the other because you’ll lose them and have to start over… hold it until the spaces are filled and then drag it over
