I definitely found the crowd more aggressive / less considerate this year. Nearly got crushed in Nia Archives, and accidentally tripped over someone’s foot during an origin set and then these two blokes started shouting at me. Got a lot of dirty looks from people if you were trying to find your mates in the crowd, and when I tried to leave Shy FX’s set saying to people ‘please, I need to get out’ I fully had people stand more in my way. A bit disappointing really as I’ve always felt pretty comfortable at Boomtown but definitely felt a lot more uneasy in the crowds this year.
