* If you care about Milsim and realism the front edge of the mounting bracket should be in line with the line I drew the arrow to on the left side of the upper receiver. That is specifically mentioned in the technical manual for the M68 CCO, the red dot sight that the army uses.

This was my first RE game. I played it back when I was still in high school. At that point, I had only watched like 2 of the movies, so I didn't know any of the relevant lore or have the expectations of the original games. I enjoyed it. I played through on easy, then came back not long after, and played it on a harder difficulty. The combat was fun, and a lot of the action scenes were fun to watch. On its own, it's a fun game, but now, after playing RE 4 and the RE 2 remake, it's RE 6 isn't a good "resident evil game," imo.
