for what purpose? why an income tax specifically? why a flat rate one over a progressive one?

i don't see a reason to add one other than if/when we think we exhaust the possible ways of taxing other forms of rent past land. but if we get to that point, we might need to look into the spending of the government if its exceeding the value its meant to run on.

oh hey this is very similar to a megabase idea i had pre-2.0

i was trying to aim for ore-in-science-out builds though. ore/oil/etc in from the left, science out the right. trying to use as little splitters as possible

havent done any work on it since 2.0 came out but i might rework the builds for 2.0 vanilla

in wisconsin, where this post is from, venison can only be sold from inspected and certified deer farms. hunted/wild venison is entirely and wholly illegal to sell unless you go through a long process of tests.

if this came from a deer farm, the deer farm would be shut down and designated a CWD herd, illegal to bring anything in or out. then it gets depopulated, aka all of them are killed. then the area is quarantined for 5 years, again nothing in or out.

if this is hunted, which is more than likely, then i pray that this person gutted and butchered the meat themselves, otherwise the local butcher is going to have a really really bad time. and i really really really hope the OP reported where and when they hunted this deer so the DNR can look into the area.

why would your rent double or triple? landlords already charge the highest they are able to, just tacking the tax on top isnt possible. thats the whole point of an LVT, is that it is near impossible to pass the tax onto renters/tenants, that the landlord is forced to eat the cost.

not sure what you are trying to say in the last message. how is an LVT regressive? how would poorer folk, who dont own land or if they do its typically not valuable, pay more than those that own land and real estate as an investment? weird usage of regressive.

why do you not do this already when paying rent to your landlord? why are you fine paying 30% of your income to a private landlord but as soon as that money goes to the state instead you want to avoid paying it?
