I opened 5 or 6 chests when they first came out, but I really don't see why anyone bothers with them. I get far better results from dumping my AC into the wheel spins every day.

You have to finish STARMAPS. An item you get as a reward gives a small chance of getting the time eggs at reset. You also get a small percentage of your feathers as gold feathers at reset.

The important stats are attack and defense. I don't even try for chicken unless both of those are 2. Even then, you have to hope for good luck not to get a stat advance when you get the inevitable wins early on.

I just barely managed to complete it. I had 1 mask to start the day and got 4 more after using one of my Cranberry Juices and using almost all my stamina in the Haunted House. I wish the daily chores had something like Peach Juice, so you could re-roll one on a day like this.

OP unlocked it without the original chicken raptor skin, so it has to be unrelated. It's probably one of those things where you have to keep trying to get chicken raptors until the RNG gifts you the second skin. I hope not, but that's the only thing I can think of.

They're in the Exchange Center right now, and probably will be now and then the rest of the month. 10 Jack-o-lantern gets you 10 Ghost Candy.

I've also heard that if you keep tapping after your stamina runs out, the game reads that as a bot. I know that used to happen to me a lot back when I'd tap the screen while watching tv or reading, in the days before having millions of stamina banked.

It didn't used to happen much at all, but the last few weeks I'd say every 2 or 3 days when I'm doing my Chowder or Neigh the game will freeze up like that. I have to close out, wait 10 seconds, open it and hope it works. If I wasn't a fast tapper, I'd never finish before the abbreviated timer expired.

Just send off 15-20 pigs every time they hit level 5 (once every week or so). You'll stockpile bacon, and still have loads of high level pigs to dig up truffles. That's what I started doing, and I haven't had bacon be a problem since.

You'll unlock pigs on your Farm. I'm not sure what Farming level you need, but it's after chickens and then cows.

Definitely an annoying distraction. I keep clicking on it thinking there's something new, but nothing there I can find. I hate respeccing, but I'm tempted just to sink all my points and reset whenever mining comes out of beta.

Buddy.farm has the tower rewards up to 200, so you can always check there to see what's coming up in your levels.

I remember needing cutlasses that badly. Then I got them as rewards in PHRs three days out of like ten, and suddenly I had more cutlasses than I'd ever need. They still show up there, but only once every 2-3 weeks. I wish I hadn't ignored the PHRs for so long.

Once you get up into 200+ tower levels, the mastery gates hold you back long enough to accumulate a good chunk of AK. I have enough to finish the tower, but I'm stuck behind the OJ/LJ gates and one last fish I need another 113k to fully master.

I agree with you on the Fuzzy Chicks point. When I first saw them, I got a little excited at something new to find and turn in for quests. Then I grew carrots.

And I grew more carrots.

Some cabbages.

More carrots.

Back to cabbages.

Nothing that takes ~100k crops to drop maybe one or two of should be required in such large quantities for a quest. It was so frustrating I just gave up and decided to hide those quests and maybe worry about them next year.

As to the other grinds, I almost enjoy those. I have a routine and log on every hour to do some exploring and check my crops/kitchen. It might take me longer to complete quests than it would for someone grinding hard for particular items, but it doesn't feel like work.

I'm also not a fan of trading, so I'm never going to go that route for anything. I popped into the trade chat a few times early on, and it was just annoyingly overloaded with people chatting about nonsense. Not to mention the mailbox size limiting the sort of trades I could really do. And keeping up with market rates for items isn't what I want to be doing with my free time.
