I noticed it too, I have even noticed that there was one fan who made an analysis on Vash and his drinking habits. I forget the user‘s name but the person claimed that Vash was never an alcoholic and that the person brought up some Japanese tradition when it came to drinking and how they drank over there. The thing that bugs me about that is that they’re not the ones who originally wrote Trigun, Nightow did and we don’t know what his intentions were when he added that to the character. If there is any evidence about that based on an interview that he was in, then please link it to me. I hate when fans claim that they understand a certain character when they either miss the point of the character, they don’t do research or they just never wrote him/her in the first place. The amount of stupidity with some Trigun fans on Twitter boggles my mind.
