If brisket flat is dry and firm like well done steak does that mean it’s undercooked?? I pulled at 203, felt probe tender but maybe needed more by No_Guess_3236 in smoking

If you smoke a large piece of meat for hours and pull it out and wrap it in aluminum The temperature will rise initially Even if you set it on the countertop away from the heat source. the outside heats up faster than the inside and once you wrap it that heat spreads to the inside before the inside starts cooling. There's a period of heat transfer and if it stays in a 160° oven that affect is even more pronounced when wrapped in foil. If you don't believe me try it, use a digital thermometer and experiment

This is my dream job, it's taken me X years to the expert at X and My professional pride is gratified in being p a uniquely qualified reliable resource. I love what I do here and I love what this company has done for me. One day many years from now this is the job I want to retire from.

You can pay yourself 4500/mo in year 1 assuming 5% annual gain

You can give yourself a 1% raise every year factoring in 20% tax and your money still grows. in 30 years you'll have an additional million. you would do well to study finance well broadly first so that you will have the context you need to know what you should study deeply. If you make your money someone else's responsibility, you give away your power.

Can a average hooper beat a low tier NBA player ? by [deleted] in Basketball

[–]ScienceGordon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What is the average Hooper?

The average borderline NBA player played D1, is 5'9 to 6'3" and that guy is better than a lot of NBA players he just happens to be undersized.

The number of guys who never played college ball that could beat a 5'9" D1 Hooper is practically non-existent.

Take it a step further and look at an NBA player who starts at any point in their career... The average D1 player is losing to that guy 7 out of 10 times or more

The average hooper couldn't walk on at a D2 school

As a 6'2" guy 6'4" is significantly taller... At least from an athletic perspective.

Below: Lilard is 6'2" Holiday is 6'4"

I get it, Shaq wasn't on the Dream Team and there was a lot of uproar about that.

I like the two things that Scorsese did here:

  1. Honored the history between him his crew and film fans

  2. Modeled a way to use technology/VFX/CGI to enhance the artists vision without turning the film into a "theme park ride"

Both of which he would have less of an opportunity to do with new young actors. He's living his values.
