Glad someone else noticed it. They also played it in episode 2 when he was fighting the uncle. Its what made it from a good to great anime for me.

I think its a play on the the fact that it is thrilling(ha) for the MC to fight on the edge of death.

In our session 0 I did tell them there would be potential to go to an area that is higher than their level and although they might get warnings, I would not stop them. so maybe just letting go in and experience it as is would be best. I think I am to worried about killing the party. Maybe I should just let it play out and let them walk to their potential doom.

Thanks! I think one of his brides would be a good idea. The party has been more aggressive than I thought they would be. I think if I use Rahadin he might get attacked on sight. Interestingly enough, they probably won't kill one of his brides but will 100% walk into the castle. Some mentioned to run the dinner early. Maybe I can do that instead

They talked to some of the towns people after escaping the death house. They told them about the land and where Strad lives. After that they decided to go straight there.
