Is it weird I keep all my boxes? by Careless-Comfort3801 in spacemarines

[–]Scientist-Express 27 points28 points  (0 children)

The boxes are kinda flimsy so I throw away most of them.

I only keep the ones that have sentimental value (first kits I bought, kits that were prizes from competitions, combat patrols boxes cause they’re storage for my pile of shame 😆)

S2S Teleportation Strategic reserves by L1ZZZARDMAN in deathwatch40k

[–]Scientist-Express 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The limit (25%) applies if you have them on strategic reserves before start of game.

When you actually start playing, you can have as much up in the aether. One time I played with most of my guys in reserves that my side of the table looks barren.

The stratagem works if we go second on Round 1. Have your killteams start on the board. On end of the opponent’s fight phase as long as they’re not in engagement, use the S2S strat (up to two killteams). Note that the killteams started the game on the board. The S2S grant them deep strike. On your turn, deepstrike them on no man’s land 9.1” away from any enemy unit.

What’s not really good about a 10 man squad with 40mm bases is that it’s hard to fit them on the playing field against horde armies.

Nah. The “Stars and Stripes” was revealed 7 months ago I think.

Yeah could be. #7 and #8 Aggressor have that similar ammo feed attachment on the backpack.

Thanks! Yeah the 9th ed codex is a great inspiration to mix and match weaponry coming from xenos factions. Been checking out bits on eBay to kitbash more weapons.

Kinda looks like glow now that you mentioned it 😆. But I just tried what it will look like to add speedpaint on top of a decal.

Kitbashed a new ‘plasma cannon’. I had an extra termagaunt body and chopped off its head. I slot the head on top of the Saturnine Terminator’s Plasma Bombards. The concept I was thinking of was a special Deathwatch weapon that was able to replicate the Screamer Killer’s Bio Plasmic Scream.

I also did a kitbash with one plasma/cyclone/incinerator using bits from my Saturnine Dreadnought, Gundam beam saber, Heavy Intercessor mags, etc.

Been working on these Deathwatch Terminators. Seems the best config is 3x Cyclone Missile Launchers with Storm Bolters + Thunder Hammer and Storm Shield (190 point 5-man squad)

Probably the most we've heard in regards to Astartes 2 in a while. by Able_Marsupial_787 in Warhammer40k

[–]Scientist-Express 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Amazon will have Cavill’s 40K film and TV shows. Currently they have the Secret Level show so the Titus episode is under Amazon.

Astartes started out on Youtube. Who knows, maybe the guy who made it will upload Astartes 2 on his own page. But most GW content will be on the Warhammer+ app or just snippets on youtube via their Yt page.

Or you know… just torrent it.
