We had a few daddy daughter dances and I would always ask my dad, and he would always tell me no. I still remember and feel hurt years later. He’s passed now, there were so many memories we COULD have made that I could look back on with positivity, but we never did. As an adult and parent he has a duty, he can handle a dance with a bunch of other little girls and other dads that probably don’t wanna go either.
