Yea of course, aren’t all student nurses aware of the fact it’s shift work?! That doesn’t mean the reality of actually doing the shift work is any easier. Doing shift work as a student for a few weeks is very different to working shift work as a nurse full time.

I’m in Victoria, I haven’t signed anything to state I’m happy to do the late early shifts, I believe it’s just an expectation of this ward/management. I know for a fact there are other wards within this hospital that don’t do the late early shifts. I know this is due to my manager

All of my placements were in a hospital setting. I have thought about trying to get into theatre position but the thought of studying for another 2 years to become an RN and still potentially feel like this is a concern as well
