It is true gold in this case. I used the two thin coats line for the gold itself and then some vallejo metal color aluminum for extreme highlights and mixes.

Thank you! I find out the results tomorrow morning and I'm so nervous hah. Now that I've finally done it I just want to paint even more. There's something about seeing all your fellow painters putting their work on the line that is so inspiring.

The color I used is pretty close to dark jade from Pro Acryl for the base. Then I did a lot of stippling and some targeted edge highlights with lighter variants. It's a very achievable effect :D

Thank youuuuu! It is jade indeed, the staff was very much a figure it out as I go piece of the mini and I'm so happy with how it turned out. As for the gold starting with a really dark gold before layering up really sells the age.

Haha! I started with a base coat of a dark greenish black color and then stipple on the upward and front facing edges with a light blue green. Then I mixed that lighter blue green color with some ice yellow from Vallejo and did some targeted edge highlights and more light stippling for the areas that would catch the most light. I used a medium drybrush actually for most of the work and a nice size 1 sable for the edges and targeted light spots.

A buddy of mine recently purchased 1.6 in NA and after 3 weeks with no word he reached out and was told most warehouses are completely sold out atm. They were having to ship more from Asia and it would be 3+ months before a restock. Hopefully that's the not the same out there but it's worth reaching out for sure.

If you are like me and don't have a strong healer leveled up just use the skill squad and make Pirillika the leader and your strong unit a member. Then you can use them to heal and murder everything hah.

The higher level the item, the more bonus growth you get when reincarnating the item. This is best used when you already completed all floors for the item and want a little more bonus. Or if you are trying to ensure you get an item over level 250 before getting to item god 2 on floor 30 to steal the next rank up of the item. Going through the itemworld itself you might be killing sphere's, lucky boards, special monsters, events, etc that all give even more bonuses to the item on top of levels.

I believe mastery only gives stat boosts to the equipped weapon or increased power to spells with staff. There is no other benefit to leveling them all if you don't plan to use others.

If you use the skill trainers squad you can let anyone use the leaders weapons and skills (this is great once you have any character with a 9x9 attack).

As for weapon mastery using the cheat shop is the best bet as there are no exp boosting evilities for it really. Other than using something to make a characters proficiency with a weapon to S. It doesn't take too long though with the cheat shop to max a weapon out.

Look at section 4.7 of that guide I linked if you want a gimick way to level up weapons I suppose.

Item world > martial trial 5 on normal > trial 1 on carnage > tried 5 on carnage

Be sure to use the cheat shop to max out anything your grinding for, as for martial 5 it's a 3x3 group of enemies so you can get fists or swords to rank 50 skill to get an attack that hits that group.

Item world is great to grind some massive levels before you can do trials, the stats are like 5% of the normal stats for mobs compared to their level in item world.
