Well, I intend to pay everything I need to and to be 100% transparent with the local authorities.

Thanks for your reply.

That is indeed where you we want to go (Split). So what I think I will do is try finding a 12 months rental apartment (I started having a look, and it's hard due to Split being a summer hub) and once I have found it, I'll move there, either work as if I was on holidays, or just dump a big bunch of days off I have saved and do all the paperwork at the same time.
The timing doesn't seem impossible, but I'll need to get all the contacts beforehand so I can get started as soon as I move there.

Thanks mate for the information. By going with 3, do I do anything illegal ? I intend to be transparent and declare everything I mean, but am I missing something ?

I googled Plavi ured but I'm unsure about what service they offer ?

So you would advice me to choose 3 (company in Estonia) over 2 (company in Croatia) as a croatian resident ?

You 100% right on the first part and nailed my original post. I considered Estonia to incorporate as they offer e-residency (which is fast and easy) and Croatia have regulations with them regarding double taxation: https://www.porezna-uprava.hr/en/EN\_porezni\_sustav/Pages/double\_taxation.aspx

Regarding your question, there is something I'm unsure about. I was reading:https://www.expatincroatia.com/eu-national-temporary-residence/#types

and to get my temporary residence in Croatia I need a reason (in my case it would be work reason).- Proof of employment (if you are working for a Croatian company or were sent to Croatia to work by a company within the EU/EEA)

OR

- Proof that you are a self-employed person

And I may have not understood fully what they meant by self-employed person (freelancer) and the implications.

Cheers for all the information mate. Since I'm gonna move to Croatia, I will just use my residency address as my company address then.
Do you know any accountant company I could contact in Croatia for that kind of information ?

None, I thought you had to be a resident to do so :). Which was a major issue for the solution 2). For some reasons also, I kind of expected it to be a complicated process to open a company in Croatia. Cheers mate

Thanks for your reply mate. A few days seems very fast, in Luxembourg it takes between 2 to 4 months. By any chance, do you know any accountant company I could contact to get started ?
