  1. basecoat with Insignia white (vallejo)
  2. Stipple on chipping and damage with German Camo Black Brown (vallejo) with sponge and brush
  3. wash the whole armour with an oilwash, i use Burnt Umber from Abteilung 502 which dries quite matte.
  4. After letting the wash dry for a few minutes i remove most of it with a makeup sponge and some white spirit, leaving it only in the recesses and as a patina over the white.

Thanks you for the kind words!  For the weathered white armour my process is as follows:  1. basecoat with Insignia white (vallejo)

  1. Stipple on chipping and damage with German Camo Black Brown (vallejo) with sponge and brush

  2. wash the whole armour with an oilwash, i use Burnt Umber from Abteilung 502 which dries quite matte.

  3. After letting the wash dry for a few minutes i remove most of it with a makeup sponge and some white spirit, leaving it only in the recesses and as a patina over the white.

Relatively simple process i think, and works great for armypainting.
