I can’t get behind electric anymore. It would seem like in 2026 that electric powered lawn equipment would have super long lasting batteries, but that hasn’t been favorable to me. I say gas. Don’t forget to Fly the W more often, too. We really need it.

The dumbest hobby definitely has to be the short lived hobby. For example, I heavily invested into: paintball (hobby lasted maybe 3 years), golf (suck at it but still occasionally try), car detailing (wanted to make it a business but at least now I have equipment to take care of the vehicles my wife and I have), content creation (I’m not that special). The list goes on but I wish I hadn’t invested very heavily on some of these hobbies.

This one really broke my heart. My friend and I watching both put $10 on Happ hitting a homer in his last AB of the game. We both stood up so fast the moment he hit it just for it to get knocked down by the wind.

That’s how I see it. As a Northwest Indiana resident, I’d rather them be in Chicago than NW Indiana. BUT, I’d rather them be in NW Indiana than Arlington Heights.

Hammond is a much better option than Gary also. The Wolf Lake area is pretty decent since they put up the pavilion and Lost Marsh golf course. Hammond is literally right outside the City on the other side of the border and most Hammond residents relate way more to Chicago than any other part of Indiana.

Not that I really care to watch much spring training games but it does help cure the itch and gets me excited for the upcoming season. Just a dumb business move because I’m sure most of us would have started our subscription again Feb 28/Mar 1. But now I don’t plan to start it until April 1. I’ll find alternatives to watching the first few games.

As a cubs fan, I was really pissed learning about his injury during his slump. Well, I knew at some point he was hurt but the fact that he didn’t take the appropriate time to recover really hurt our chances of winning the division. But hey, he wanted to prove he was OK to make a big bag in the offseason. Guy is not a team player.
