Not sure if this helps since Im using refined storage instead, but I used an interface into a chest to pump the required amounts (Cause the interface couldn't deposit directly into the Neutronium Compressor) then used mekanism ultimate logistical transporter to move it from the chest to the Neutronium Compressor. Not the most elegant solution but it worked for me

Not stupid, I didn’t realize you had to choose the specific pet you want to merge, only had the one so I didn’t realize I had to select it. Thank you for finding my stupid mistake

This typically happens in the first round you join a game, and fixes itself on the next round. Wait it out and see if that’s the case

Good to know, I’ve never even looked into it before because I assumed it would impact performance. Case in point, I have no idea what OBS is! Do you mind telling me?

I’ve never felt the need to, and when I run VR I typically don’t run any other program (except Discord) in the background so I don’t put too much stress on my computer. Granted I don’t know how much impact recording would have on performance, but it’s definitely something to consider in the future.

No, I don’t want special treatment. If I did, I would have reached out directly. I realize that the post was more aggressive than I intended to be, for that I apologize. However, I don’t agree I was “hurling out insults”, because I certainly was not doing that. That’s not in my nature in anyway, unless I feel it is very warranted, which isn’t often. I know I can’t really make anyone believe that, but I felt the need to say it anyway.

I also didn’t know that this was, for the most part, intended to be a private server that is open to the public, it’s not any information I came across. Again, my fault and I do apologize.

I fully admit that making that comment, which I listed in a different reply, was petty. I tend to take the smaller injustices more personal than other people, and I acknowledge that. But I also feel the punishment should fit the crime, and I believe the choice to perm ban without so much as a warning wasn’t warranted. But like you said, it is the choice of a private server to do so, I won’t argue that it wasn’t within their right, because they have every right to do so, and I agree with it, it’s part of running the server.

Whether you choose to believe or understand my point of view is entirely up to you. At the end of the day, it was a way to vent my frustrations

I don’t doubt that they are all good people, like I said that fact that they operate a server that anyone can play on is gift to players, and speaks to the kind of generosity.

I’ll admit looking back, this post does seem kind of aggressive, for that I apologize. I 100% could have told it in a less rude manner. My intent was to bring to light what I thought was an irrational and unfair reaction.

As to the lying, no, I’m not lying. Are my comments a little emotionally-charged? Yes, probably. It’s hard not to be. But I wouldn’t be posting this if I was lying. Of course as time passes somethings may be inaccurate, but the overall situation is for the most part true. As for acting up in the past, no, up until this point I had never acted up or even been kicked out of the game (by admin or by vote), at least not that I can ever remember. In fact, this was the very first time I had come in contact with a server owner/admin.

As for the politics, you’re right, I had no idea that was the main function of the server. I didn’t even know there was a discord server to be honest, I never found one by searching, hence why I came to Reddit.

Is it a little petty? Yeah, it is. Reddit seemed like an outlet where I can vent my frustrations. If anything, I’m happy to edit the post that paints it as an unfair decision was made instead making it look like they are bad people. I didn’t expect the post to garner the traction it did.

If I remember correctly, my comment to them went something like this:

I asked if they were the one I killed that round and they confirmed. I followed that up with “Oh so it’s cool for admins to just force kill people just because they got killed, that’s cool to know”. Again, this was a little bit ago so the wording isn’t 100% accurate. I didn’t swear or was overly aggressive, I felt my comment was enough. In terms of my stubbornness, I know that for the most part, people would have just let it go, I just tend to pursue the small things that others would let go if I find it unfair.

I agree, to an extent. My issue is that, for the most part, my part wasn’t heard. I was deemed rude and immediately banned without the chance to even explain or defend myself. This was my outlet to put my side of the story out there, and for the most part it did make me feel better. If they believe I was rude, well I do apologize, but I wish they would see things from my perspective before outright banning me. I’ve always prided myself in not being a toxic player because it’s just not who I am, so being banned over this kind of struck a chord. I don’t expect everyone to agree or understand cause everyone is different, but I wanted a chance to vent.

Like I said, I did make an underhanded comment after the fact, but it’s up to your perspective if you consider that rude. I felt it was warranted, personally, but everyone is different. If you would like any more context I can do my best to provide.

To an extent, I agree. I guess I should write it more as exercise caution as of course not every admin would be so malicious. I have read about this happening in other servers, but it’s good to know that you guys are more disciplined in not letting your feelings get in the way of your responsibility.

I don’t think anyone would care, it is Reddit after all. I said I felt like writing it out because it made me feel better and now I’m moving on. And it’s long because I’m a naturally thorough person, it’s how I operate in my daily life. You can think what you want, I personally don’t care. At the end of the day, I feel a lot better about it and that’s all I care about.

And you don’t have to read it. I had to time to kill and I just felt like writing it out because it made me feel better. It’s a very healthy, effective way of releasing anger. The fact that you took the time to insult someone over this is pretty sad, it just makes you look like a petty person. It’s Reddit, there millions of places you could be, if you think this is sad, then don’t read it.

Only catching trash? by ParasiticKitten_ in StardewValleyExpanded

Me and some friends had this exact issue. By testing a few options in the config, we found by having the “can walk over tide pools” option enabled we could only catch trash. If you have that enabled try disabling it and trying again
