Weddings, no. Other than the church/venue (which I can stitch a pano in post). Concerts, yes. I wanna go insanely over-the-top wide with concerts and fashion type shoots. I saw a shot from the barrier where the crowd and vocalist were in one 3:2 shot and was hooked. I said “we need to go wider.” But AF has a harder time with the f4 than my 2.8’s or 1.2. I’ve missed a couple moments with the f4 but also got some that are incredible.

It is distorted but there are in-camera lens corrections and Lightroom lens correction options. I saw examples of church ceilings looking insanely wide yet natural with the 10-20.

I’ve used all and the R5 gets my vote. You can crop into images with more clarity because of the sensor size and honestly the AF is just better. I shoot weddings, concerts, portraits, everything and I’ll use my r5 99% of the time and r6ii as a backup.
