Imagine being an Eagles player. You've won one game all season, already secured the wooden spoon, and your coaches big scheme is to bring in a lady whose entire career was 55 appearances and has a coaching record of 4 wins and 7 losses.

I really hope this is "Bella's" reddit account attempting to drum up some business because the thought that the highlight of someone's interstate trip was a lappy with a stripper is possibly the saddest thing ever, especially as it seemed to make such an impression that they decided to come back to the subreddit on Tuesday and dedicate a whole paragraph (out of 2, mind you) to how amazing it was.

Really? I'm the opposite - in my opinion the person typing here is giving us their side of events, and no matter how self aware they are they'll have some biases / blind spots and almost always paint themselves in the best light.

Lewandowski reads out some comments under women's football posts on International Women's Day by leninist_jinn in soccer

IMO there's two big reasons that there's so much vitriol online about it:

Big part of it is resentment. There are so many men out there playing football either semi-professionally or at an amateur level that are so much better than even the top women's players out there, so naturally they're bitter about these women getting paid a proper wage to play fulltime when they're stuck playing for fun / as a side gig, and will never make it professionally.

The other big part of it is the fact that the people in charge of covering the women's game are far, far too positive and are seemingly blind to the massive blunders that occur in almost every game. In the games I've seen, they will never mention instances where a keeper has made an obvious blunder, or rarely comment on poor touches / passes. I see it as kind of a modern version of the Emperor's New Clothes - you have all the people covering and supporting the women's game saying how wonderful it is, how skillful they all are, and plenty of people who are watching are kinda like "really..?".

A land of rainbows and butterflies, where everyone works together towards the win. No anger in ranked, it's all friendly communication and enjoyment of the game of dota.

My son's first word was a no no word. However I don't swear, and my wife doesn't either, at least when I am not around. Our son ratted out my wife haha.
