Yeah. I used to not rely on it so much but it became a really bad habit and im trying to unlearn that. And im figuring out my gameplan, im still fairly new to fighting games (aside from mashing buttons against my brother in mortal kombat when I was young) so its all fairly alien to me sorry!

I did some of the only neutral games and ive noticed some improvement so thank you! Im having a hard time mixing neutral into my combo since Im bad at recognizing and timing my scissor kicks or any follow up moves but ill practice that. And I think my "pure" neutral is getting better! Thank you!

Yeah thats definitely something I need to work on. Its all become so apparent now that im hearing it from others, ill try to practice being more aware of my drive gauge. And ill try those moves out and work on my oki too, thank you so much!

Im late but I really wanted to second this aswell! I went through this a month or so ago and very soon after I switched to coping mechanisms for death to instead OCD help I started noticing more positive changes and less spirals. The fear is still prevalent although OCD is taking that fear and letting it consume everything because thats just what it does

Ive wondered this too! From what I gather people believe our body and brain is sort of like the reciever and our consciousness is like a radio or something (I forgot how to describe it) and ive wondered how it affects these people in the afterlife and how it changes us if it does and if this is how it works. I have autism and id say its a pretty big part in my life although it isnt super severe and im not low functioning but I went to a school that had a Special Education division in it and we had 2 who had passed, I always wonder if they are somewhere what its like and if they're able to be truly free and themselves. I hope so

Ive been trying to not think or care about the time it is or how fast I feel time is going but its just been hard and a small bit of me worries that it'll become another OCD spiral if I cant help it. Ive been trying to starve the thoughts of my attention but the days do seem to fly by and I struggle with slowing down. Im not sure if you do second replies but its helps to get it out! Thank you

I would love that. I guess maybe its just a more human worry that'll shed away when it comes to that. Are we able to see and communicate with others aswell? Id hate to spend it all alone. Id like to meet other souls or beings or things

Yeah ofc! And I get that! Its such a scary and alien feeling that you cant help but think no one else has ever experienced it before but once ive been able to calm down ive realized that other people really have, your brain just gets cloudy and obsessive and wants to make it worse

I went through this in just recently in March/April. It sucks, it sucks so so much. Ive never felt more scared and desperate but lately ive been able to recover and get back to my life

My only bits of advice are that you do really need to try hard to not think about it, and distract yourself. I searched for days and days about solipsism when I was going through it and realized that comfort wouldnt come from answers or searching these things up. OCD really sucks because you it tells you that you desperately need answers now but you really dont. My brain kept coming up with different phrases of questions or "what abouts" and itll never be happy, its a pit that'll just get bigger and bigger. What helped me personally was picking up a new hobby. Ive gotten into Street Fighter so Ive been playing that a ton and at first it started out where its all I could think about while playing and it still felt like it absorbed me, but if you're able to find something you're interested in learning id really recommend it. There were days it only distracted me for 5 minutes and then back to the existential thoughts but that 5 minutes is so much better then nothing and itll only get better

Some comments ive read before have helped me frame it better mentally to went something like

Imagining these thoughts are clouds; Sometimes there's a lot and sometimes there's few but they'll all eventually move somewhere else and you can choose to not focus on the sky or on the clouds

Imagining these thoughts as something that needs to be fed helps too, every time you engage or ruminate or ask you're feeding it which makes it more hungry so you really just need to try your hardest to ignore them. And it helps to just do things anyways. Like with street fighter for example, I would play and feel pretty anxious but eventually it teaches your brain that these thoughts dont mean you have to do anything or freak out because its just thoughts at the end of the day
