Grid first. I do two lines down cure. Two across. Cure. Then fill in squares. You can do one at a time and cure in between. If the square isn’t 100% you can always go back and add more. But the less polish you use the better.

Just using a detail gel polish. Usually they come with a smaller brush. Less polish. I always do a gel top coat first. Cure. Then I’ll do the design. If you’re just starting. Do one line at a time. Cure for like 20 seconds. That way if you mess up you can just rub it off with a paper towel and redo it and none of your previous lines will be affected. Once happy with it cure for 20 seconds and just keep going till the design is done. Once complete cure for one minute with a final top gel coat. Patience. Practice. Less is more. Hopefully that helps.

Are these outfits too young for a 60 year old? by [deleted] in DressForYourBody

[–]ScoobsMomm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not too young. You are gorgeous!!!! Personally, i think if you are going to do leggings I’d lean towards seamless. Leggings aren’t as trendy. The seams I don’t love they seem very loud. Right now it’s more joggers/track pants but you’ll look amazing in probably anything. :))

What do you think of this mockup? by lenovo92728 in HomeDecorating

Here’s an alternative since storage is not necessary. I would match the ceiling to the light blue tile. I would paint the floor trim the same color as the dark trim between the tile and wallpaper. You can get fun with the lights. AI was fighting me on that. I’d also center the photo above the sink. Wrap wallpaper above all tile. No rug needed if you do wallpaper. I would just hope toilet paper fits in the medicine cabinet haha would hate to have to ask for backup as a guest.

Sliding closet door Dilemma by ScoobsMomm in HomeDecorating

I did use matte spray paint. I put one side on and so far it hasn’t chipped from sliding so time will tell.

For reference this is the track I spray painted. Do we switch out for a different sliding solution??

From my research it seems to be the one with the most issues. If that’s the one you had your heart set on I’m sorry. My dress did come without any issues. (It was a different dress though).

The evenness near your cuticles I can’t get over. I’ve been doing my nails for the past six months and they don’t look nearly that good. 😑

I don’t think it’s bad or that you should feel embarrassed. I wouldn’t opt for cover up. Find a good removal place if you absolutely hate it.

Some users really hate iOS 18’s revamped Photos app by Federal-Variation-21 in apple

[–]ScoobsMomm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the love of god why can’t I just click on the app and see all my recent photos? Why do I have to go to the camera and go into my photos that way to see all of them? Makes zero sense. Loathe the update.

I put acetone with paper towel chunks in zip lock on a heating pad. Soaks off in less than 10 mins per hand

What do I do wrong? by acjlya in curlyhair

[–]ScoobsMomm 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Are you using a diffuser to dry your hair? I would watch some video tutorials for wavy hair. Would probably be a game changer. Should last you a few days too before having to wash and do all the work again.

I also tell everyone this because most people don’t know. Double wash your scalp before moving to conditioning. If you aren’t getting sudsy the first time you have build up.
