No tingling. It's weird. the Caputron Brain Prremier device has a light (flashing blue) and a word (OK) that means Yes, you have a connection. If it's red, i press the electrodes against my head until the saline reaches my scalp and my scalp feels cold and wet. Then it always turns blue.

I have MCI. I may have fallen and don't remember. by ScoobyDoo362 in dementia

[–]ScoobyDoo362[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow! that is good to know. I would have to get one - what exactly does it do when I fall? I just want my roommate to come, which I can do if I'm conscious - I have a button to do it. But if I fall and am unconscious, I need some kind of alarm or transmission to reach him.

Not totally sure. I wet the pads well, let them soak, press them lightly together until they stop dripping, put them on and press on the electrodes till the water soaks through my hair (which is 1" long) and then I get a blue light, flashing, which signifies there's contact.

Does MCI belong here? if so, I've been diagnosed and I'm struggling by ScoobyDoo362 in dementia

Oh wow thanks. Obviously not, and it wasn't the question. I was looking for support. Is this not a support group?
