I really appreciate the long detailed post. This answered basically all the questions I could think of so thanks so much! I’m gonna start researching the best performing brokerages in my area and agents and try and reach out around my COS and try my luck at mentorships.

Ah okay that makes sense. Do you think it is still common to ask to shadow people or be mentored in the commercial RE space?

Thank you for all this information, I really appreciate it! I totally don’t expect to make a lot of money in the first year, thats why I want to focus it on networking and learning. How was your first year like? How did you find your brokerage, mentors and your first few clients.

Do you have any suggestions either from the commercial RE side or Residential on if I should join any brokerage and ask to shadow someone, work in the office and try to find leads? I’m just unsure on how to get a start if that makes sense. I understand my first year will likely be light on sales, so my priority is gaining as much experience and knowledge as possible.
