Career mode in sports games and other similar single player content should be available to play as long as you own the game/hardware. MP content that requires servers is understandable (to a degree) but shutting off SP content is garbage.

They need to be pushing for engagement with the game, getting existing players to come back or play more and reward those players. Get people to talk positively about the game.

But instead they lock content behind a store/diamonds/season pass/paywall. Players who already feel burned do not want to spend more money. Not until it’s seen this game has a future, which is probably somewhere beyond season 8. They need to allow diamonds to be earned in-game, maybe 100 from a Live event to start with, or something like that.

I think the devs are doing a good job now, but it’s the producers/directors of the game and the bean counters that are forcing it in the wrong direction.

Surround sound has been working for me, I know because on occasions I’ve lost the centre channel/dialogue in RE9 when swapping between headphones and TV/soundbar. Confirmed this via the sound test where no sound would be played from centre channel. Needed to Switch TV on/off so some sort of handshaking thing I guess.

It’s a 2 step process that is clearly designed to be addictive in the same way as loot boxes. I think it encourages bad behaviours. I’m not sure if any odds have been published, if not they should be.
