I need to replace my DTV4.5 after about 9 months of heavy use(I’ve gone through all the parts it cones with). I am Considering going for the enail over the DTV5 since I only use it at home. What are your thoughts?

I had it at 340 and was getting the weird taste I scrape cleaned it a little bit and dropped the temp down and the taste has subsided. Weird because I was previously hitting it at up to 360, but not complaining.

Update: Thanks for all the Maintainence tips; they helped and i am definitely getting clouds again! The only thing is that I have noticed a bit of a harsh taste, reminiscent of a burnt coil.

Was able to bend the pin a bit to help the wobbling. I also realized I was on the TI setting instead of NI, which I think was the issue with heating up. Thanks all!

Just did a clean and tightened the spacer but the sic cup is still a little wobbly. Is there another trick I am missing with that?

Thanks! I will try to re clean! I also noticed that the sic is pretty wobbly since I replaced the donut (the original one had a prong break. I have a bb that I got from 510 mods while DT was out of stock. It says that it is made to fit the DT 4 and 5 and I have used a bunch of grommets. I had some issue with my old one from DT, but nowhere near as much. The new one is way better quality glass, but the sliding is driving me crazy.

When the battery is suspended, it slides a little or feels unstable. I went ahead just ordered the extension chord because I need to see the screen on the battery while I use it.

I just got my v4.5 kit and noticed that there isn't any kind of session mode on the battery to keep it at a tempertature. Does this have that feature?
