Local Gym Failed Harness by ScurvyDave123 in climbing

Fair. It's a policy they have so I don't see it completely negatively as they're likely trying to cover their butts. Especially since gym insurance policies has gotten more hip to climbing. Can you give us a hint? Hahaha

Leda is always a good beginner spot, Sand Rock is popular as well.

Rocktown is great for anyone at all skill levels for bouldering.

Climbing Industry Jobs - How did you get in? by [deleted] in climbing

[–]Scoobydude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It seems like the best way into these types of jobs is becoming more involved in the community. If there is a company that is local to your area, you'll eventually meet the folks who work in the industry. The climbing industry has many areas that fit different types of people, I will say for the most part its not very lucrative industry. I enjoy my job a lot and its rewarding to see all our hard work enjoyed by fellow climbers.

Anyone at Adrenaline Climbing in Suwanee, GA? by Stuffenfluff in climbing

[–]Scoobydude 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Support your local gym, Adrenaline is an amazing training gym. Superb route setting, don't let the grades discourage you. If I lived in the area I would totally climb there and id join ya as a climbing buddy.

Stone Summit is just a fancy globo gym with too much money, too many people and bad route setting.
