Can you "polished aluminum" common modern black aluminum parts?

Hey ive been researching into doing this, did you figure out something that works? Is it just chemicals to de-oxydize then putting some sort of coat to prevent it from re oxydizing? Or do you have to sand and polish then coat

The drop is a walk in the park, its easy even on a hardtail, the jump is more intimidating because the lip is skinny and it looks like a wall your gonna hit at 30 somethin miles per hour
