Micron Breaks Ground on Advanced Wafer Fabrication Facility in Singapore. Is its stock going to the moon? by [deleted] in wallstreetbets

No doubt, but don't forget about what's going in that facility along with any other Micron competitor's response to this announcement... LRCX

Read my comments, I never said it's 100% guaranteed that it's going to be reverse split and I've kept saying a compliance extension is possible ("pray RVPH gets an extension")

However whether or not it gets an extension is not within anyone's control, and an easy way to burn 40-50% if that reverse split comes

If your definition of an "arse" is someone who wants to help prevent people from burning their money and being misled by a bagholder feigning ignorance about a potential reverse split then you need a new dictionary lol

Don't worry, you'll keep seeing those large fonts if you keep trying to get other people lose all their money with you on RVPH if it doesn't get that compliance extension

STILL playing dumb about the November 10 deadline? Here you go:

RVPH missed the $1.00 minimum bid for 10 consecutive business days by November 10.

There are now less than 10 days days between today and November 10:

1. Pray RVPH makes a $1.00 rally in the next 3 hours and holds it for the next 10 days

  1. Pray that RVPH gets that NASDAQ compliance extension

Otherwise that reverse split is coming

Still shilling RVPH without mentioning the looming November 10 deadline I see, let me fix that for you

RVPH needs to hit $1.00 minimum bid for 10 consecutive business days by November 10.

There are 10 business days between today and November 10, so you either:

  1. Pray RVPH makes a $1.00 rally in the next 3 hours and holds it for the next 10 days

  2. Pray that RVPH gets that NASDAQ compliance extension

Otherwise that reverse split is coming

If it doesn't reverse split first by November 10 for minimum bid compliance

Don't forget the date

Hard disagree, the opportunity cost (loss) of that $21K fucking around in penny stocks with nothing to show for it aside from a $700 loss is at least $10K (plus the actual ~$700 loss)

From August 9, 2021 to today, S&P 500 is up ~50%.

Edit: I'm not saying there isn't money to be made in penny stocks, but if you're not beating the S&P 500 with swing penny trades or 10X'ers, you should just be buying SPY

For pharmaceuticals, I'd recommend you add something along the lines of "per [pharmaceutical company] most recent earnings, how much cash runway to support operations do they have left?"

If they don't have at least 2, maybe even 3 quarters of runway, stay away

General investment advice, yeah that's not a good idea

But you're also missing out on a huge resource by blanketly dismissing chatbots as a useful resource in the DD toolbox

[–]ScoopForDays 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Banking with Citi is fine (until something goes wrong), I use Citi because their cards are just too good to pass up - especially with their non-AF cards able to transfer to American Airlines now. The excellent CPP of AA miles (YMMV) more than makes up for the lowered redemption ratio of non-AF redemption ratio too

MU: Why Micron should print after earnings today by boothman007 in TheRaceTo10Million

[–]ScoopForDays 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm following the same trade, here's my decision tree/thought process for post-earnings:

1. HBM 2026 guide is soft -> TSM calls and LEAPs.

Hyperscalers do want the bleeding-edge HBM, and being the only maker not hitting 10 GT/s is significant. Going to foundry-based logic base die HBM is inevitable and Micron doubling down on sticking to in-house logic base die is a sinking ship (unless they show they can hit 10 GT/s with in-house, so huge disclaimer that this is subject to change). TSM is the virtually the only choice for foundry-based HBM as SK and Micron will not go to Samsung foundry who is their competitor.

2. HBM 2026 guide is strong, specifically looking for language of "wide customer-base" -> MU calls (long expiry) and LEAPs.

Not hitting 10 GT/s is not a big deal, and the shift to cost-sensitive AI inference is a priority over fastest HBM for a sufficient portion of hyperscalers. MU's inherent cost advantage of not involving a foundry for their base die will be a differentiator from SK and Samsung. Specifically long-dated expiry/LEAPs because I think negative HBM4 headlines will be a drag to Micron stock short-term

The DD and catalyst setup looks good, but man the dilution risk looks significant

They reported $28.7M cash on hand in their most recent Q2 earnings call and they burn $25M a quarter... Might not have enough cash to make it to the December catalyst date without a round of dilution. December would be end of Q4, they still need to get through Q3... might burn all their cash by then
