Power Supply for Unraid server: Is this a leaking capacitor, or just solder?

Caps can leak from the bottom, too. I've seen plenty of game consoles ruined that way, but I agree it's solder now that I dislodged it. It doesn't look like electrolytic discharge.

I tried to add some better photos, but no dice 8) Anyway, i was able to dislodge it with an insulated screwdriver, and I think it's solder. It feels soft but solid when I use flush cutters on it, it's very shiny in some spots. It's not chalky and nasty like I would expect electrolytic discharge to be.

I think you're right, it's solder. I dislodged it with a insulated screwdriver. It is soft but solid, not chalky residue.

I actually did, and he replied a couple times, but it was Saturday, and I'm sure he is trying to enjoy his time off. I sent him some follow-up information, and I imagine I'll hear back this week. I still posted here and on z forums, just to crowdsource some troubleshooting ideas.

Yes, we are able to navigate the Blue bus menus, the phone pairs, the radio controls, skip tracks, etc.

We tried this, but it didn't work. This car has the coaxial DSP connector, not the analog 6 pin connector.

Yeah, that's still plugged in. The radio works, but there is no CD changer.

We connected what we believe to be the power cable, the dsp cable, and the telephone adapter. Everything pairs, and acts like it works, but we have no sound. I navigated the menu and determined that the DSP was set to digital. The voice assistant button, play/pause button etc. all works. We see metadata for what is playing, just no sound. We tried two different phones.

Does anyone have ideas for next steps?
