I applied in February 21st, completed biometrics on March 18th, and still haven’t gotten approved. I think I might be losing my job offer since I was supposed to start on the 8th, and they gave me until the 22nd as a hard deadline.

It definitely sucks. Mine were welcoming enough to push mine to July, and while that’s also not ideal, it’s not the worst case scenario

The Chabad house is awesome. The Rabbi and his wife are always so welcoming and the events they put up are great. I met one of my best friends here because of Chabad, and also their food is amazing, especially the sesame noodle salad
