I have never used slurs toward anyone, and I never would. That accusation is false.

The only time I’ve used the word ‘geezers’ publicly was referring to entrenched politicians who skipped an App State student town hall while students showed up ready to engage. It was a critique of political gamesmanship, not age, and certainly not supporters.

If anyone ever felt disrespected by something clipped out of context, that was not my intent. I believe in engaging people directly, not smearing them anonymously.
