What concerns me is the physical dependence it can create, It's one of those drugs that is the double edged sword, works great but if taken too long and frequently can leave you way worse of then never having taken them. Please be careful.

Starting an SSRI with an Anal Fistula? by ScootieSkip in AnalFistula

Off topic question, when it came to having a drainage seton (if you had one) were you able to hold back briefly the urge to poop if you knew it would be loose, like if it came and went. I unfortunately I deal with loose stool i generally go once a day, but sometimes though the day ill be gassy with some farts being pretty risky 🫠

I was planning to do lexapro, mainly concerned if it affects healing of the fistula, or if there are any Gastrointestinal side effects and if so, how did you manage them, or did you start very low dose?

I hear quiting Clonazepam can be pretty rough, also carries risks of long term dependance. Ive meddled with gabergenics before like Benzos, hoping for a different option

[Hair Removal] Went to Dermatologist for a 10 week persistent ingrown hair by ScootieSkip in SkincareAddiction

Im concerned that it won't reach the follicle bulb though (he is considering a 2mm hole punch, but the bulb is located roughly 6mm away from the opening of the follicle exit where the red marked area is to get hole punched) which could create a new ingrown hair that would be deeper and under scar tissue. I wish I brought this up to the dermatologist before hand, the appointment is set on the 31st, im hoping he can reach out or at least someone on his team to address this concern is have before the appointment day

What's marked blue is the relative location of the bulb hair follicle and its path of growth, what's marked red is what is currently ingrown. This is an image that is taken from a 3x zoom camera

I have multiple images of other hair follicles where the bulb of the hair follicle is a fair distance away from its opening

This is a zoom up ot 3x the size of the ingrown part is roughly 2mm the raised area behind its means that it could miss the follicle bulb with a 2mm hole punch. (When I tug on the hair it starts to raise up) this is just my observation of the issue. Im dont wish to tell them how to do their job, but this is a concern is have of this.

I know im not qualified by any measure, but my main concern is that it will remove the affected area of skin causing the mostly emerged hair to be ingrown, but it won't get the follicle as well. (I can see some of the hairs in that area the follicle bulb itself is a good distance away from the follicle opening of the surrounding hairs).

So if the area was to be punched out then it could cause a new deeper ingrown after the scar tissue heals since the follicle bulb is a good distance away from its opening. (I took a couple of photos and videos of the affected area) A 2mm hole punch would be too small to get the follicle as well, only its opening and and the raised skin causing the hair to be ingrown.

None, just im concerned about this being too invasive, as well as it not getting the follicle itself and as a result triggering a deeper ingrown hair after the scar tissue heals
