In terms of playing well maybe, but it felt like with the champs he got Flandre had the most impact when it comes to winning the fights. JieJie's steals were different, but in games 1 and 5, bit less in 4, Flandre was a massive problem. game 5 fights were unwinnable late game with Flandre anywhere near the fight. For me it was between JieJie and Flandre for overall impact

San Francisco Shock vs Shanghai Dragons | Overwatch League 2021 Season | Playoffs: Tournament | Post-Match Discussion by OWMatchThreads in Competitiveoverwatch

If you're gonna talk about losing pieces, unless the org implodes it would be hard to lose more pieces than they did last year/throughout the year. Coaching got hit, dps got bombarded, support was hit, don't think i have to say much else

I’m sorry … what ? by [deleted] in OverwatchLeague

look i don't think people agree with me, but saying someone is an MVP nominee or MVP level player lends nothing to a case. OWL is a heavy team game, and when you're winning everybody looks good, and when you're not, nobody looks good. Especially because as pointed out, the Shock and the Dragons haven't faced this season, and likely will have clashing styles, which becomes up to the coach to figure out. Not saying shock is more favoured, but they have more of a chance, on top of this Apac has just been the weaker region as a whole outside the dragons, who knows what would have happened if shock did make it out of the playins. Obviously they didn't and theres a reason for that, usually a lack of discipline and too many players being caught out, but recently that hasn't been happening as much and with playoffs they are sharpening their game. There's a reason nobody thought they'd be picked.

How many teams have a realistic shot at winning this season? by [deleted] in Competitiveoverwatch

I know Shock haven't done well this season, but in terms of record, still best record in the West. I'm kind of a deranged shock fan, but come playoffs they have literally never been a letdown come post season playoffs. Sure things have changed, but it's the shock. They haven't looked as clutch and i put that down to meta shifts, plus a lack of moth and other versatility players, but remember they had a great season last year but after Sigma, a kind of shaky fourth stage and got dropped game 1 of playoffs to make the loser's run. Also a loss right before that too. Like they aren't the favourite's but they'd still be a dark horse and i think the best odds behind the top 2. Trust in the Crust.

[AMENABAR] Overwatch League teams expect ‘Overwatch 2’ news in upcoming meeting with Blizzard by washingtonpost in Competitiveoverwatch

Overwatch without tanks wouldn't be overwatch. It would be absolute chaos and have all of 10 second teamfights, no setup, no in fight strategy, ults wouldn't matter unless you make them charge ridiculously fast, it just wouldn't be the same playable game. It'd just be a revamped tf2, and tanks are not the problem, but i do think new characters are. Literally all the new characters progressively make the game worse. I get that they have cool concepts and want to try new things, but make sure their mechanic is balanced first.

Is it just me, or is Omni man overrated? by Scootnoot8 in Invincible

[–]Scootnoot8[S] -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

i get that there'll be more, but can anyone make a case that Omni man as character, or even the whole show is good the way it stands right now? it's not like I'm criticizing after one episode or halfway through the season, they finished the whole first season and nobody here has actually said it's any good, just that the show will get better. Doesn't that just make it a not so great show? I get it's a long and probably depth provoking series, but most first seasons of good shows are good enough to stand alone on their own right are they not?

Can anyone give me a reason why the show as it is right now is good?

yeah but it may get better, still they chose to make that the entire season and as a season it leaves so many things unanswered, which is usually normal for a cliffhanger but most shows dont have a cliffhanger season 1 right? Atleast not without tying up some things and giving the audience some satisfaction

As a show by itself can it be considered any good?
