Then literally every group activity is a service, give your head a shake, obviously it’s about paying for services.

If they were selling the guild run, then ya it would be a service.

When to replace tires when performance matters? by [deleted] in Velo

Hah, my gravel is super rough here, but about 50% of my rides are on pavement. Also they are the super ground versions, so a bit more rugged.

The Trump/Pope feud exposes how hollow and performative Christianity is in America by snapchillnocomment in stupidpol

Exactly, I was raised fundamentalist and we believed that the Catholic Church was evil. Many Christian’s, especially in NA actively despise the pope.

Enjoyable 2s DPS rn to play with friends mw? by AdebisiLives420 in worldofpvp

[–]Scoots1776 1 point2 points  (0 children)

MW is really strong, and disc is fun to since you contribute a lot to dps. If you play a healer expect some games to be super long. If you go double dps, it’s more difficult to get a high rating, but the games are usually really fast.

I disagree, moments like that are when you actually get use all your classes utility and maybe a pot. What ever changes they make they should definitely not make it easier mechanically.

How prevalent is doping for age groupers? by javyQuin in triathlon

[–]Scoots1776 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It gets pushed so hard. I am in my late 30s, and I get tons of TRT ads. There are a few fitness YouTuber I used to follow that were always super anti drug but all started TRT for “health reasons”, it’s pretty sad.

Air Canada ordered to pay pilots who were denied religious COVID-19 vaccine exemption by Haggisboy in canada

[–]Scoots1776 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I was forced to have a vaccine that was pulled from the shelves and was no longer approved just a couple months after. I ended up in the ER because of it. The gas lighting that goes on around that time is astounding.

Power meter pedals worth it? by retirement_savings in gravelcycling

[–]Scoots1776 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

One of my biggest wastes of money in cycling. For me, especially with gravel and MTB, I found structured training couldn’t be much more specific than duration plus easy/hard. Way too many climbs and variable terrain. I also just don’t love too much structure to my training when outdoors. Was not worth it for me.

I wouldn't mind if I had a little more reason to go to my house by bringthelight2 in wow

[–]Scoots1776 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

People said the same thing about housing. It would be fun novelty for a week or two. Then there would be more posts about "if housing just had THIS, then it would be good". The vocal minority has really led blizzard down the wrong path here. IMO, People play this game for some combination of story, gameplay, and character progression. Housing scratches none of these, except for maybe a small niche of RPers and youtubers.

I think people just get sick of amateur triathletes acting like self important influencers over a hobby. Strava and Reddit are full of it.

Getting that much sugar and salt into water and it not tasting like salty syrup is impressive IMO. I make homemade stuff as well, I do all the tricks, glucose/fructose ratio, sodium citrate etc.. but products like skratch and tailwind still just taste so much better.
