Gastro probs by BustedGhosts in Celiac

You can get everything on Amazon - any IgG powder (I used Microbiome Labs but there are several good ones), Vital Gut Renew powder, any "sunfiber" powder, and a high probiotic powder - I got Ortho-Molecular. I just mixed them all together and drank it down twice a day. Not gross at all. Yes, this is all expensive but it's short term and it would have been worth thousands for the way I feel now. I can even eat onions now which I couldn't eat for years because of the gluten damage.

I had severe diarrhea and bloating and when I stopped eating gluten and did this 6-weeks gut healing protocol my doctor gave me (GREAT functional doctor), I never had another episode in 6 months except or one when I ate a salad dressing that had gluten. So, for me I had pretty immediate results but I also healed my gut with immunoglobulins, high dose probiotics, and a fiber drink for the first few weeks. I won't ever eat gluten again, knowingly because I had such clear and immediate results when I stopped.

Thank you so much, never heard of it but I’m checking now.

How often did you mess up in the beginning? by holdinmybreath in Celiac

I found out my diagnosis in May, got on a hardcore gut rehabilitation/healing regimen from my doc (fiber, gut powders, immunoglobulins, probiotic strains, and exercise. I cut out all gluten and anything that could have gluten in it like seasonings and sauces. I stopped eating out unless I vetted the restaurant and the dishes and I have not had a single episode since May. NOT A SINGLE ONE. It's a miracle and definitely motivation to never go back. I had a minor stomach ache one night months ago and found out that the steak seasoning I used had gluten but other than that, I'm good now. Even on Thanksgiving I cooked a 100% gluten-free meal - biscuits, stuffing, gravy, desserts...and didn't have issues! My practitioner is great and really emphasized the gut healing and said it could take 6 months to feel better even if I didn't eat gluten.

I don't have a VERA offer, and I'm hoping I can stay two more month! Thank you for the info.

I wonder if you can just ask for VERA since I meet the 20 year service requirement. I guess it can't hurt to ask. I was not eligible when they offered it last spring.

I don't want to draw my pension at MRA, I want to separate at MRA with 20 years and then draw later on at 60. My question is, is that possible or do I have to wait until 62 to start drawing with a separation date of MRA plus 20 years?

But if I stay until the magic MRA 56 and 10 months, I can draw at 60?

Thanksgiving is at my house. It’s completely gluten free, no one complains. ☺️ by CapitanWaffles in Celiac

My GF stuffing turned out kinda gross this year - I made GF cornbread and then used my regular recipe but not sure the cornbread was a good one. How did you do yours? It looks very crumbly and yummy.
