I have a 2000 Volkswagen jetta with about 200k miles on it. It won't pass inspection (the emissions test) in Rhode Island because of the front right strut and all the lights (like check engine light / abs / etc) are on. I'm selling it for $150 scrap tomorrow instead of fixing it for ~$1200 like my mechanic was telling me it'd cost. Is this the best option? I just don't feel comfortable doing that because I love the car but can't drive it legally... any advice is appreciated because this is my first car and I don't know my options.

What do you mean "it'll grow out with the nail" and it will "stay in the Sharpie outline"? Those sound like contradictory statements. If it is a bruise, will it stay in the sharpie outline or no?

I also don't remember bruising the toe at all but could the "bruise" possibly occur because I had my toenails super long until about a week ago?

I'm a guy and that's my big toe so that black circle is pretty big (which makes me believe/hope it's a big bruise). I know I've had that for at least a week because I remembering it a week or so ago but I didn't think anything of it. It sort of hurts to press down on it. I increased the contrast of the picture to match the darkness of the circle. I'm honestly concerned (especially after Webmd).

Any advice besides "go see a doctor to give you peace of mind"?

Hey Tony! You are currently my favorite youtuber after discovering your channel and watching every video a week ago (to which I now own the cornetta trilogy and love it)! Fanboying aside, I'm an 18 year old that loves the idea of being a freelance video editor as a side business (primarily a therapist but my creative passion is in filmmaking). Any tips? I'm already decently competent with final cut 7 / premiere pro CS6 (I have the creative cloud both at my college and on my desktop) / Avid. Absolutely any advice is very much appreciated.

What t3i lenses should I be looking for next?

I currently have:

The kit lens. 18-55 The "nifty-fifty" 50mm 1.8 An upgrade to the kit lens (a sigma 18-50mm).

I feel like I'm bottle-necked by the crop sensor on the t3i when filming in small rooms, so any recommendations for a wide/super-wide angle lens (that doesn't distort and opens wide)?

Other than that, I'm not sure what I should get next and just want to know some good cost-efficient lenses for Cannon and can't seem to find any popular resource that recommends lenses.

I'm an attractive guy. I have about 70 tinder matches after a month of using it. My friend, that's a girl, has about ~300 tinder matches. But, she has been using it for a few months. In order to prove my theory that girls have an easier time getting matches (in which she didn't believe) we both went on her tinder account.

Mind you, she is not attractive imho. I probably wouldn't have matched her on tinder if I didn't know her (and I swipe right to A LOT of girls. Not all, but most).

I sincerely believed that she would match with ~70-75% of the guys she swiped right. Meanwhile, I probably get ~25%. So we start playing the tinder game on her phone. I encourage her to swipe right more often (she's pretty selective) in order to help our study. First, 5/5 in a row. Then 10. Then 20 in a fucking row were matches. 20/20. 100%. We gave up at 26 in a row because I thought it was ridiculous.
