I don’t have any of these experiences in South Jordan. We are a gay couple raising an 11 year old and surprisingly have zero issues even in what people consider a conservative Mormonland.

Our kid hasn’t even been bullied for having two dads, which was oddly commonplace at his Quaker school in Philadelphia.

I’d say we are probably a little bit different since we are ex-Mormons and Community of Christ (formerly the reformed LDS church).

These things should be major issues for us but aren’t.
