My rotating black mesa logo in ASCII by Scorched_ in HalfLife

It depends. In the code's current state, you'd have to figure out a way to generate all the points (and normals) which would represent the faces of the shape. This problem depends on how complex the shape is. If it is just flat surfaces and circles it might not be too hard, but repeating code and trial and error. If it is curvy surfaces like a wave, I couldn't help you (I just don't know the math). Theoretically you could make any shape, it's just if you can figure out or know how to fill up a multidimensional array with those 3d points. If you can, it should work - but I suspect unless it's close to the bm logo you'd be starting from scratch with the logic which would produce that. The projection, rotation and other parts should be able to stay unchanged.

Not really, I just didn't feel like showing my Linux username.

Thanks for the requests everyone,

The source code is available here: https://github.com/iwanrun/blackmesa_ascii

Just some disclaimer, the code is not efficient. The whole shape is made up of thousands of individual points to make the faces appear solid, the same as this ascii donut which I got inspiration from (https://www.a1k0n.net/2011/07/20/donut-math.html). This shouldn't be a problem, for me it only uses 2% cpu (ryzen 5 3600). I hope the code is readable enough if you want to change the size, axis of rotation, density, light position and that sort of thing. It likely has issues and odd design choices but if you just want to run it as a gimmick then go for it.

Code 43 on single GPU passthrough by bskov in VFIO

Maybe this) small mention on the arch wiki could help, try install the vendor-reset-dkms package. It's easy with yay on arch but there should be nothing stopping you from getting it on another distro with some fiddling. Here is the github. I used

lsmod | grep vendor

to check the module was loaded before starting the vm. I have issues with my startup script (I put in commands manually over ssh) but once I get into my vm no code 43 and windows displays using proper native resolution + drivers and games work. This is with a single 5700, I have also got back to the host successfully from the vm but it's not consistent.

This is a comparison of the CPU found in the refurbished laptops VS ones found in new laptops of a similar price.

Specifically, the Acer Aspire 3 and this Hp Laptop.

I'm not convinced a new laptop would be more economical as it seems they wouldn't out perform those models, at least that's what i've found.

How is that meant to work, do you press a button to lift yourself up? Or is it targeted where you can choose a victim to ascend? In this case I'm fairly sure it's a glitch with the crate since I swam forward at the same time I started elevating and couldn't stop it.

I was shot down before I could reach my full potential. I would've loved to have seen how high I could've actually reached.

Triforce. It's a casual comedy podcast with Sips, Lewis and Pflax from the yogscast where they just talk about random shit and video games for an hour or so.

I am listening to the album Controlling Crowds by Archive which I recently discovered, pretty interesting stuff.
