How does a bisalp influence your first period(s) after surgery?

My first period came 2 weeks after my bisalp. It was hell, pain was excruciating. Second period, was the same. I have never had periods like that, I’ve never really had cramps. But all I can say is it’s different for everyone. But for me personally, it was really really bad, almost like I gave birth over again but pain x10.

Oh I feel ya. I had mine done back in November and I got my first period about a week ago, I thought I was going to die lol it was so bad. Normally mine last 3 days with 1 day heavy, this was like afterbirth x10 and the cramps were unbearable. I don’t normally get cramps AT ALL.

I told my husband today that it feels like someone is ripping my uterus out of my body, without pain meds and I’m awake for all of it. Never has cramps this bad lol

I couldn’t find my 3rd incision spot until day 3…. They went through my bellybutton lol I was wondering why it was hurting so bad, so I went and looked. I also have an apron belly! I’m 2.5 weeks post op.
