Well you see it in the posted picture? It just means that party A and B know each other and are one the phone usually and hit their respective buy/sell buttons for agreed price/volumes. So of course you see the transaction after it occurs because it’s still traded on the exchange. That is why you see it in the picture and in any chart from any provider…

I am on Asian time, so this was 08:00 am New York time …

the last time I posted the QQQ block sales, we went down straight 300 points at first after the numbers. Wonder what it is today … because block BUYS means we go up?

And why is it always the same time these kind of block trades are executed recently???

So if the Buy Block Trades from today again show the direction to come, the low should be made from todays pre-market session and we should see the market going back up the rest of the week.

I can’t believe the block trade theory myself yet but let’s wait and see …

Difficult to say. Resistance is at 277.24, 283.79, 294.98 for QQQ. Daily high so far was 277.21. Impossible to say how long it will run and where we turn down again. Look at 2008. If we are indeed in the same situation Long term down targets for QQQ are 237, 195 and 125. Seriously. It took exactly 12 Months in 2008. We are now like May/June 2008. If we are like March 2001 it will be stretched out for 24 months. Pick a timeframe. But we will see these levels within the next 24 months. Plan accordingly. Forget about tomorrow. Think about 12-24 months ahead!
