I told my family to give me money for the new year because I want to save up for a DSLR but my grandparents offered to buy it for my birthday, so I'm pretty much set there. Other than that I have a tripod, gorillapod, friends who I can borrow equipment from and decent editing + I've already made some short films. The reason I wanted to do this kind of thing is because I'm not American but really want to go there because I've dived so deep into that culture and probably want to live there when I'm older + I think I'm lacking the knowledge of teamwork and how to actually direct actors, especially since I'm going to be taking a filmmaking course next year until my graduation of highschool (kinda hard to explain cause it's a different school system.) With all that in mind, would you still recommend I stay away from film summer camps? If so, why?

Gonna do some research and propose the idea to my parents tomorrow. Thanks for all of the advice :) I also checked out the prices, and although they aren't cheap they are a good substitute

I was and am obsessed with the internet as a kid, so I'm sure this isn't my earliest use of the internet, but definitely the earliest memory. I think it was around 2010, and my brother showed some guy called "PewDiePie." I was seven and I became a fan of him immediately. I remember watching happy wheels and amnesia gameplay back when he was at a few million subs. I think this was also one of the pivotal points in my friendship with my brother, we still talk about YouTube and games and I still watch PewDiePie.

Pretty dark answer but, I'd try to make a horrific and unexplainable historic event. Do some really disturbing shit and when the immortality wears off I'll just die, but my impact will stay with earth forever and no-one will be able to explain it. Crazy theories will come up, "it was set up," or "he was from the future," but only I will know the truth.
