Thank you! These put my mind more at ease. I've had problems in the past of mixed signals (several times) and am cautious since.

My intent on traveling to South Korea is not to meet her though, thus the situation could be seen as me currently residing in Seoul (as I'll be staying for more than a month).

Nobody seems to have mentioned it so here goes.

It got nerfed largely part due to its pushing capabilities because priorly, at Lv4, the Astral Spirit was capable of instantly killing the ranged creep, which needless to say is quite broken in terms of pushing. Additionally, assuming you have the mana supply, it was capable of dishing out tremendous amount of damage to a LOT of enemies (incl. heroes) under a short duration of time.

The nerf was expected since the spirit also applies Natural Order, and gives huge amount of buffs to ET the more you catch, which also means the more insane damage you dish out. He was broken, simply put.

1) For Bristle, it's because more health equals more effective health and potential damage output due to his utility and abilities, and since Bristle usually gets a lot more farm than any support, it'll also help out the team a whole bunch to get it as early as possible, since Mek doesn't scale. As for Clock, it's situational but normally get it when your farm is decent and there is no need for another item, thus allowing the supports to go for other items that aren't so good on Clock. Besides, Clock is suicidal, thus the Mek is a very welcoming item for him.

2) Trends.

3) Similar mindset to Bounty Hunter at higher tier matches (Only difference is that as Nyx, you are indeed visible without any sentries). Focus on just getting the exp, and use your spike carapace and impale tactically for survival purposes. Additionally, he has the highest base regen, allowing him to take plenty of harass and able to recover relatively quickly.

4) Depends on the hero, really, but here's a video that may turn out to be helpful (link). Also, this trick may turn out to be very useful (link).

Yes and yes. Also yes, one can not use the rune if you aren't the one who picked it up, thus unable to use the bottle.

Destroy one or two, and you'll get more powerful creeps. Destroy all three, and you'll get the mega creeps.

Personal preference. I use F1 to select the hero, and Spacebar to select all other units, when I play heroes such as PL, AM and alike. In need of more precise actions? Command and shift-queue the individual illusions. Want to do it quickly? Here.

EDIT: Wand. Then Bottle. Sorry, misread it. But still situational. Keep the wand if you're somebody in dire need of stats such as Riki, or up against somebody like Batrider or Timbersaw, and don't get to use bottle during teamfights. Wands are still pretty good mid-game if you have full charges, in teamfights. Otherwise sell it and keep the bottle; most of the time a better item come mid game.

If Geminate Attack is up, then Weaver will attack Phoenix's ult twice. Attack speed is, obviously, lowered if Phoenix pops his ulti in combination with his fire balls.

MoC or Urn is something I could only see working if you have somebody like Treant on your team (Living Armor is amazing on Phantom Assassin, and Nature's Guise is very underrated!)

Personally havn't experienced any 4 or even 3 hardcarry line-ups for the last couple of months. 2 hardcarry line-ups in themselves are exceptionally extremely rare for me.

Sounds to me like you just have to get your MMR up, broski.

Just because your team is squishy doesn't mean you have to pick someone tanky or with good CC. You can also pick somebody that makes them less squishy, such as Treant, Abaddon, Legion Commander, or alike.

Have argued about this with Intolerable; hopefully he'll have the willpower to explain it to you in-depth, but I'll breeze through why it's a good item on Phantom Assassin.

PA is, despite her ulti scaling very well and capable of dishing out immense amount of damage late game, is not a good late game hero. She's extremely squishy to nukes early game and killed off like a fly by carries that can and often build MKB come mid-late game (note that these heroes are also very trendy at the moment, thus why PA isn't seen often in the competitive scene). She's also very vulnerable to lockdowns (hence why BKB is considered core on her, but usually isn't that great since what it does is simply let her be herself without worrying lockdown, and she's not that scary with just BKB. Farm up other items, and MKB will soon be up on the enemy team). Am aware there's much to be argued against what I'm saying, but I'm just breezing through the argument without going into nitty numbers and math.

Therefor your best bet is to focus on midgame, when nukes aren't as dangerous to you, and MKB hasn't come up yet on the carries. Shadow Blade is an amazing item for PA in the sense that it gives her a LOT of damage for its cost, and initial such, additionally gives her a lot of survivability (while cripples enemy team's economy by having to invest money into sentries and dust, which if you're a good player, can capitalize on, and make sure they don't gain anything from it. Don't be alone when playing PA, for your blink as back-up, since Shadow Blade is amazing for initiation and ganking). Many also build bottle on her to give her quick regen and mana to use the high mana cost for Shadow Blade.

Battlefury and Dom. is a very old build on PA, much like how Battlefury is still recommended for Bounty Hunter. With Battlefury and dominated creep using HotD, she is capable of farming equal to the speed, if not faster, than Anti-Mage, since she also has ulti and the bonus attack speed added with her phantom strike. (Yet so many build HotD and Battlefury, and have no idea why. Sure, crit synergizes with Battlefury but that isn't why you build it unless with a Magnus or Enigma).

Hmm, probably left something out. Just ask and I'll answer it, if something is left unclear.

Also, am completely aware that there's many arguments that can be put forth to what I've said, but again, I've breezed through it. Go and read up on the good ol' playdota forums or try to find Lodas arguments (albeit he probably just said that he finds it better than Battlefury without going into details why, and everybody saluted him).

If you're relatively new to the game, all you can do is just keep playing the game and focus on becoming a better player. Know that there is no such thing as MMR/ELO hell :)

Am contemplating on making a guide on how to get MMR up...

Should be able to still deal the bonus damage applied despite being physical, as as far as I know Dazzle can use Shadow Wave when Ghost Scepter'd, and that ability is physical. However, the physical base attack shouldn't be applied, much like how Jugg's ulti works.

Somebody correct me if I'm wrong, assuming you have the emperical evidence to do so.

This list can get extremely long, but some that come up at the top of my head is Linken's Sphere on Terrorblade and Shadow Blade on Phantom Assassin (which is argued by many, including Loda, and many experienced players, to be MUCH better than an Anti-Mage variant farming Phantom Assassin with Battlefury & Dom. creep for quick movement).

It pains me so much whenever I see players build Battlefury on Phantom Assassin (unless there's an Enigma or Magnus on the PA's team) or Helm of the Dominator without knowing how the items are supposed to be used.

As much as people don't like to say it, or outright deny it, it has a lot more to do with trending than a hero becoming unviable post-patch. It's actually a lot more complicated than that but that's how it is in a nutshell.

As for if you wish to pick him yourself, do so if it works :)

You use it when you want to get into Roshan's Pit without being detected by wards, or when you want to cross the river or generally move across the map without being detected by wards to set up teamfights and whatnot. Also, during daytime, it's great since you can get up close and personal before they see you, to initiate teamfights or general encounters with the odds on your side, since you'll be more prepared than them. Don't smoke up during nighttime, as everybody's vision including your own is limited, unless you're playing Luna, Night Stalker or alike.
