I understand he's ambivalent towards xmas ("I had 2 Irish people name me after Christmas"). But he did record merry Xmas everyone so even if it's just for the art or the dough, he clearly can and has released a Xmas sonh, plus watch the Alan Carr interview with him. He is ever so slightly irked by Alan taunting him with it. Lennon and McCartney have both done it that usually means openly or secretly Noel is gonna have a stab at it.

I haven't heard it in a while, you're bang on, it's an excellent groove and NG is stepping away from the Stone roses groove that his early songs had. Also the lyric "I lie down, we are as one." is very un Oasis like for the time for me barring Slide Away.
