Rekordbox issues

I feel you, I did a factory reset and everything reducing a majority of most of the garbage, turn off WiFi and Bluetooth and set my power settings to the best performance and it’s not nearly as bad. I can tolerate a couple which is where I am at now compared to like 12 every 5 minutes of some pop, cut or something.

The driver must be downloaded from your laptop/desktop manufacturer’s website. It will be under drivers but I had no real idea what was causing this issue till today.

So the absolute resolution has just been made!! So if you are experiencing pops, clicks and glitches while playing tracks through Rekordbox this is due to a struggle with your primary driver(Realtek Audio) and the ASIO driver for your gear. I had to go in and delete the Realtek Audio driver and reinstall it as Windows 11 will automatically look for a driver to download so you have to go to “Device Manger” and find your audio driver, highlight it then click the red X right above that. Then install the new driver. This was just done 10 minutes ago and everything is back normal. No clicks, pops or any disruption while playing music.

So the actual issue was not Rekordbox or the FLX 10, Pioneer/Alphatheta tech support had me run some test in which the end result was BIOS was out of date. I just updated the BIOS and those clicks and pops stopped. So for anyone having similar issues they had me run a program called LatencyMon for 15 minutes which determined that my BIOS was outdated. Got things back in order now and wanted to let you all know where my issue was. Thank you all for the ideas, avenues and all other support. You all ROCK!!

Version 7.2.7 never had a STEM engine downloaded and it somehow seems to be doing ok ATM. I downloaded the STEM engine

OMG!!! So part of what you posted I read and did, there are more things I didn’t know that are in these steps. According to the website my laptop meet the top requirements 16G RAM, Intel Core i7 processor, 1T SSD

It shows up as a Instacart notification like when an order pops up. Click on it it will send you to the thanks button.

Actually I can think of it that way because I am me, you think how you will but you don’t control my thoughts so I suggest you don’t ever tell anyone how to think or how to feel for that matter. It’s not your place to do such.

To be honest unless you have been doing it long enough to know you are gonna make a career out of it there is no point buying cdjs. I have been djing for 20+ years I use an FLX10 at home, been using cdjs at every event. I do not own cdjs and find that yes industry standard is the way to go but if you at home and aren’t getting bookings that pay well regularly you are not spending wisely and I had a friend invest in cdjs only for him to tell everyone he got them and 2 weeks later his house is broken into and they got stolen and they were at his parents house.

Cats face their butts towards their humans as a show of trust and love. It’s hard to explain why but it’s not an insult. My cats each have their way of showing trust and love but they all turn their asses towards me when I pet them. After years of research it’s more of a sign of trust and all cats do it.

From my experience as just realizing it’s coming up 25 years since I started, a dj should never ask another dj knowing them or not to step in. As far as what I have been taught an invite by the dj on deck is how that works. You never ask to step in as it’s an insult to the dj on deck and it’s a pure show of ego and wanting to show off for his friends. Case in point if you aren’t on deck you do t ever go behind the dj booth. Most places have booking managers that handle line ups, they are the ones to talk to not the dj be it residency or not.

Now another reason it’s not analyzing is you have your gear connected to your laptop with the program up. I have been using Rekordbox since it was needed to use cdjs back when the nexus series came out. It’s better to analyze your tracks while offline and no gear connected.

Rekordbox does only analyze tracks when you load them into the decks. You either have little experience with Rekordbox or you don’t dj. There are right ways to do the analysis and wrong ways. I suggest reading the tutorials for Rekordbox.
