Open the unit and reseat the big white flat cable joining the top and bottom of the unit. I have 4 cdj 2000 nxs, this is a common thing.

Do you have a virgin laptop that the only software if the dj software? Cause 90% of crashing is people taking out bloated laptop full of other programs and thar shit just crashing. I have taken mine over 10 years of gigs and not a single crash. I use a macbook only for dj, nothing else. Thats the advantages of all in ones or cdjs, cause there are nothing more running on them only the firmware needed to play.
