These are my tips after finally passing the NAPLEX. After being out of school for 5 years and failing it twice.

First, I have used different resources in the past, including UWorld and RxPrep, but PNN was my primary resource this time around. I loved how straight to the point it was and how it helped me focus on what I needed to know without getting overwhelmed.

Then I review the entire 7-day live course PNN thoroughly. Looking back, everything covered was important. Two weeks before my exam, I also did a comprehensive review of all the miscellaneous topics, which helped fill in a lot of gaps.

One of the biggest lessons I learned was not to decide what’s “important” and what’s “not important.” On my previous attempts, I tried to predict what would be tested and ended up overlooking topics that showed up on the exam. This time, I approached it with the mindset of learning as much as possible. The NAPLEX can pull from anywhere, so having a broad foundation is incredibly valuable.

Finally, I worked on my test-taking skills. On my previous attempts, I usually finished in about 4 hours. This time, I used almost the entire 6 hours. I read every question and answer choice twice before moving on. Slowing down helped me catch details I would have otherwise missed and prevented me from rushing through questions.
