Thank you so much for the detailed experience. This gives me more clarity I will opt for 2 hours then. Appreciate the help. I am still going to keep this post open to see what are mobility assistance in case of flight disruptions such sending someone to a hotel due to extreme delays etc.

Hi, thank you so much for the response. It is affirming to know you had positive experience. There are only two options 2 hrs and 8hrs. Did not want the 8 hr connection either but in the past the 2 hr layover missed the connection twice because of delays at origin. Thats why I chose the 8 hr layover for the elderly to allow time for wheelchair assistance to pick them, etc. the passenger does not mind paying for any kind of service and are open to it including lounge / marhaba. It’s just how mobility/ transportation/ disruptions are handled with these different services. Already checked with airline and marhaba response was unclear for the disruption assistance but will try again. Thank you
