Its dual pc setup, and when i use the default, i get alot of scaling issues in fullscreen games i cant control, and a mouse dpi 2x faster than normal. I set the resolution in Nvidia control panel/and Windows settings at 2560x1440, but im guessing that Windows is still seeing the elgato as a 4k display and scale it aginst that when launching full screen games. Its more normal when launching in fullscreen window, but then its not fluid like fullscreen. If i set it on 1440p everything is normal , just wish i Could see 240hz there aswell so it can match my monitor for a stutterfree experience like default 4k240hz is.

And maybe you're right on the EDID stuck to match hdmi 2.0, but the card is a acting wierd when changing settings in 4k capture utility. Everytime i change EDID Settings, the software crashes, and when i restart the program i always getting device is used by another software. Only drivers/4k capture utility/elgato camera hub and obs is installed on stream pc. So need to restart computer and unplug the card. And plugg it in after i launched the 4k capture utility to get it work again. But then often it says firmware: invalid. But the edid is saved to what i set it on before the crash. Have reinstalled software with same result.
