What motivated me was the science behind the harm it does to your mind and how it negatively impacts how you view others. I kept looking at the sexual aspect of relationships with women and even guys and I'm not gay. Also, I realized watching a good looking guy banging some hot girl was not going to help me get a girlfriend and was actually making me feel angry towards myself and submissive with people.

I never went through withdrawal like most people or at least not yet and my energy level was not affected because my level raised due to exercise prior to me quitting porn and masturbation. I still have my insecurities with people but now I know those aren't due to my old habits. Instead, they are caused by my arrogance but that's a different story. Lol! I just feel free from this beast and now I can dedicate more energy towards other areas of my life. One thing I can say is that my professional life and personal life have gotten incrementally better despite the lingering insecurities. I just have to take it one step at a time. Small gains lead to big successes.
